Maturation of the concrete through cubes

By maturation, we refer to the action that a specific device for the control of concrete cubes performs.
Maturation includes the processes during which fresh concrete gradually develops its properties due to the progressive hydration of the cement.
To allow a correct maturation it is necessary to constantly keep the structure made humid.
In case of failure to mature, there will be:

• the decay of mechanical properties
• birth of defectiveness and durability of the concrete in place.
